READ THIS ALL VERY CAREFULLY AS IT DIRECTLY AFFECTS YOUR ACCESS TO THIS SITE.
While these sites are the property of USBA.net they are here for you, the community. In order to keep this a fun place for all, there are certain rules that need to be followed. The rules apply to all methods of communication between community members i.e. forums, private messages, e-mail etc.
No Spam. Spamming can be defined as either posting multiple times about the same thing or starting multiple topics about the same thing. There are other actions that are considered spamming such as constantly posting off-topic as well as providing links that have nothing to do with the forum at hand. Spam will be deleted without warning.
No slander. Treat others in your messages as you would like to be treated yourself. Insults, language or anything offensive will be deleted without warning if considered unacceptable by an official Moderator or member of USBA.net staff. Content that is insulting to anyone based on gender, lifestyle, religion, ethic group, race etc. is unacceptable and will be deleted without warning.
No flame wars. There is no place for that on these message boards. Topics that are designed to start a flame war (defined as a abrasive and/or offensive argument that serves no purpose but to make people mad) will be treated as Spam and deleted without warning.
Stay on-topic. There will be some leniency on this, and we don't mind if you bring in another idea or two, but stay focused. If you think it's a good enough topic, start a new thread about it. This also prevents losing a good idea in a thread about another topic. Threads that wander off-topic will be closed and/or trimmed or moved to its appropriate forum.
This is not a phone. Conversations are for the telephone, IRC, etc., not for this message board. For example few want to hear about you meeting with a friend for pizza in the 13 page thread.
No illegal topics. Warez, pornography, copyrighted material, etc. are not welcome here and will be removed without warning. Posters of such material will be dealt with on a case by case basis
No impersonating. Attempting to pose as USBA.net staff , an employee of any affiliates or any other registered user will not be tolerated and will result in the deletion of that username. This also applies to variations of registered names.
Thread length house rule. We will close threads once they reach a certain length. We want our database engine to run as smooth as possible and long threads will slow down our search engine. These threads will be closed, but feel free to start a new thread if you feel that the previous one didn't address the issue properly. This is not to censor certain topics but to make the reading of a thread easier.
We, USBA.net staff or official Moderators, reserve the right to edit, delete, or ban any content found on these sites without warning.
We also reserve the right to modify these rules without warning
Please treat all other participants in the forum with respect. Do not use the forum to threaten, harass, stalk, or abuse other users.
Do not impersonate a USBA.net staff member, agent, manager, host, or another user.
Do not use the forum to spam others. Spam includes sending identical and irrelevant or unsolicited submissions to many different users, and includes misrepresenting the source of anything you post.
USBA.net does not allow behaviour or content related to illegal activities. Do not use the forum to publish, post, or distribute defamatory, infringing, obscene, or other illegal content, including child pornography, content promoting bestiality, incest, illegal drugs, or software piracy, or messages that amount to harassment.
Do not use the forum to link to external sites that violate these Rules of Conduct.
Do not post or promote any materials that could harm or disrupt another user's computer or would allow others to inappropriately access software or Web sites.
In addition to upholding these Rules of Conduct, you are responsible for following your local and national laws.
You are responsible for your actions that are based on advice or information you get online. Use your own judgment to evaluate information you receive through any communication service. Cookies
These Forums use cookies to store the following information: the last time you logged in, your Username and your Encrypted Password. These cookies are stored on your hard drive. Cookies are not used to track your movement or perform any function other than to enhance your use of these forums. If you have not enabled cookies in your browser, many of these time-saving features will not work properly. Also, you need to have cookies enabled if you want to enter a private forum or post a topic/reply.
You may delete all cookies set by these forums in selecting the "logout" button at the top of any page.
Active Topics
Active Topics are tracked by cookies. When you click on the "active topics" link, a page is generated listing all topics that have been posted since your last visit to these forums (or approximately 20 minutes).
Editing Your Posts
You may edit or delete your own posts at any time. Just go to the topic where the post to be edited or deleted is located and you will see an edit or delete icon () on the line that begins "posted on..." Click on this icon to edit or delete the post. No one else can edit your post, except for the forum Moderator or the forum Administrator. A note is generated at the bottom of each edited post displaying when and by whom the post was edited.
You may search for specific posts based on a word or words found in the posts, user name, date, and particular forum(s). Simply click on the "search" link at the top of most pages.
Editing Your Profile
Your Forum Profile is the same as your USBA.net membership profile.
To change your profile information please edit your USBA profile here:
If you have any questions or concerns, please email the administrator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
You may attach signatures to the end of your posts when you post either a New Topic or Reply. Your signature is editable by clicking on "profile" at the top of any forum page and entering your Username and Password.
The Forum does censor certain words that may be posted; however, this censoring is not an exact science, and is being done based on the words that are being screened, so certain words may be censored out of context. By default, words that are censored are replaced with asterisks.
Changing a lost password is simple. All of the pages that require you to identify yourself with your Username and Password carry a "lost Password" link that you can use to have a code e-mailed instantly to your e-mail address of record that will allow you to create a new password. Because of the Encryption that we use for your password, we cannot tell you what your password is.
Yes, the Subscription feature allows you to subscribe to the entire Board, individual Categories, Forums and/or Topics, depending on what the administrator of this site allows. You will receive an e-mail notifying you of a post that has been made to the Category/Forum/Topic that you have subscribed to. There are four levels of subscription:
- Board Wide Subscription
If you can subscribe to an entire Board, you'll get a notification for any posts made within all the forums inside that board.
- Category Wide Subscription
You can subscribe to an entire Category, which will notify you if there was any posts made within any topic, within any forum, within that Category.
- Forum Wide Subscription
If you don't want to subscribe to an entire Category, you can subscribe to a single forum. This will notify you of any posts made within any topic, within that forum.
- Topic Wide Subscription
More conveniently, you can subscribe to just an individual topic. You will be notified of any post made within that topic.
Each level of subscription is optional. The administrator can turn On/Off each level of subscription for each Category/Forum/Topic.
To Subscribe or Unsubscribe from any level of subscription, you can use the "My Subscriptions" link, located near the top of each page to manage your subscriptions. Or you can click on the subscribe/unsubscribe icons ( ) for that Category/Forum/Topic you want to subscribe/unsubscribe to/from.
