Dedicated to Promoting the Sport A room owner that has only one or two 3-cushion tables can now have 3-cushion competition and give their customers a chance to learn the game. The quickest way to get new players to play the game of 3-Cushion is to reach out to pool players. Paul Frankel (Professor-Q-Ball) came up with the idea of this shot contest several years ago. Our goal is to have pool players participate in these shot contests from hundreds of rooms across the country, creating more 3-cushion players. We have provided all the material you need if you wish to hold a shot contest in one of your local rooms that has a 3-cushion table. All the shots that are diagrammed have been examined and approved by 3-time United States 3-Cushion Champion, Pedro Piedrabuena. We have been very careful to design all the shots so that the placement of all 3 balls is easy. The shots are not so difficult either because we want the beginners to score as often as possible, so that they don't get frustrated right from the beginning. The shot contest has 8 shots and how to make them. There are an additional 8 shots included in the "Follow-Up Material" for the players to practice after the contest is over. For best results, use a color printer when printing the files, especially the "8 Shot Contest Shots" and the "Follow-Up Material". The Word files are best. The "Sample Flyer" is shown to give you an idea of what it should look like. If you are holding a shot contest with Paul Frankel, he will create a flyer for you.
