TACOMA BILLIARD FEDERATION 2024 USBA National Qualifying Tournament January 26-28, 2024. Maximum of 18 players.
Tournament Location: Elks Lodge # 174, 2013 S. Cedar Street, Tacoma, WA.
Players Meeting: January 26, 9:30 a.m. Play will begin at 10 a.m.1/
Entry Fee is $60.
All players must provide proof of USBA Membership First 18 players to notify Tournament Director by email or text and pay entry fee before deadline of January 25 will play (email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., text to: 253-256-9404). Checks should be payable to “Tacoma Billiard Federation” and sent to Jesus Quinonez, 7204 199th ST CT E, Spanaway, WA 98387. Late entries will be placed on a waiting list in the order of the date when email/text is received. You must provide your email address and phone number to receive any additional announcement(s) about the tournament. Assuming there are 18 players, there will be three (3) flights of six (6) players, round-robin format. Flight play will be on Friday and Saturday. Two players from each flight will advance to the Final 6-player round-robin to be held on Sunday. All games will be to 25 points. This is not a handicap tournament. The top finisher will have the entry fee to the USBA National Championship Tournament (“NCT”) paid plus $500.00, in addition to whatever prize money they may win. The USBA NCT will be held at The Billiard House, 2549 Yosemite Blvd, Modesto, CA, April 25-28, 2024.

• Standard USBA Rules of Play apply unless otherwise stated.

• Round Robin placing will be determined in the following order: (a) number of wins; (b) total points; (c) lower number of points scored by opponents; and (d) head-to-head results. Same applies to the final round.

 

1/ Days on which the tournament will be held and format of the tournament may be changed depending on how many players enter. If there are 12 players or less, the tournament will become a two-day tournament and the format will be changed to a single round-robin in which each player plays every other player in the tournament. If the tournament is reduced to two days, notice will be provided in advance.
