Pedro Piedrabuena Represents the USA at UMB World Championship

The UMB World Championship will be held in Blois, France from September 23 to 27 and Pedro Piedrabuena will be representing the USA. Forty-eight players will compete in sixteen Groups in the Qualification Round where matches will be played to 40 points with equal innings. For the Finals, thirty-two players will play 50 point matches in a knockout round with no equal innings.
For the Qualification Round, Pedro Piedrabuena is in Group M along with Haeng Jik Kim from Korea and Alexander Salazar from Colombia. Pedro will play his first match at 5:00 PM local time on the 23rd. Defending Champion Frédéric Caudron (Group A) plays his first match at 7:00 PM that first evening and raising star Myung Woo Cho (Group B) will also play at that time.
