Finals: 8 player round robin to 25 points
After the round robin was completed, Lupe Cruz and Paul Navarette were tied with just one loss each. They were supposed to play a playoff match to determine the winner, but both players were tired and opted to split the first and second place prize money. Both players were awarded first place.

*$8,500 prize fund is based on 28 players + auction & lottery. 100% of monies received through auction & lottery is added to the prize fund. The prize fund distribution may change depending on the number of players inscribed in the tournament & auction & lottery receipts.

Qualifications Format
28 players divided into 4 Groups of 7 players—playing round robin. Matches will be 25 points. The top 2 finishers from each Group advance to the Semifinals. The top USBA-ranked “B” players (which may include foreign players) will be seeded into the Qualification groups, one per group. The remaining players will be assigned by random draw. 8 players plus 1 Auction & 1 Lottery winner will advance to the next round. 10 players total in the Semifinals.
Semifinals/Finals Format
10 players divided into 2 groups of 5 players—playing round robin. Matches will be 25 points. The top finisher from each Semifinal Group will play for 1st and 2nd place overall.
Dress Code for Finals : FULL DRESS ATTIRE: dress shirt, black slacks, black shoes, formal-wear tie and vest.
No check payments. Pay cash at the event.
*Includes $10 USBA Sanction Fee & $25 USBA non-member fee which goes to the USBA
