Tournament Information

Message from the Tournament Organizer:

The flyer below has additional information about the qualifier tournament we will be holding at the Tacoma Elks Lodge in order to enable players to qualify for the USBA National Championship Tournament to be held in December, 2021 at the Carom Cafe in Flushing, NY.

To summarize quickly, the event in Tacoma is limited to 18 players, and is scheduled to take place beginning on Friday, November 19 and ending on Sunday, November 21. If there are 12 or less players, we will shorten the event to two days. Players will be notified by email if that occurs, so it is important that every entrant makes sure I have his email address.

YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE USBA TO PLAY IN THIS QUALIFIER. Assuming I understood correctly an email I received from Andy Janquitto, the USBA President, you cannot become a member at the time of the qualifier tournament, but must become one before the qualifier tournament starts.

The entry fee is $60. Ordinarily it would be higher for a USBA qualifier event, but because of a generous commitment by MOBPA (Medford Oregon Billiard Players Association), we are able to have an entry fee of only $60. Deadline for payment of the entry fee is November 15, 2021. Checks may be mailed to me (at 3210 Morrison Rd. W, Apt B, University Place, WA 98466-4570) or placed in the lockbox at the Tacoma Elks Lodge that is used for collection of table maintenance fees. Because I will be traveling from now until October 25, please do not mail checks to me before October 25.
