Tournament Programs/Charts Never ran a USBA tournament before? Are you a little scared? Well, don’t be. It is really not that hard. Your first USBA tournament will be the hardest simply because you have never done it before. That’s normal. Everything is scary if you haven’t done it before. I was scared too the first time. Once you finish your first USBA tournament, it will become much easier and you will be more confident. Benefits of having a USBA Tournament: 1) If you are a USBA Room Member, you receive commissions from the USBA as well as the lowest prices on Simonis Cloth, Aramith Balls, Tiger Cues, Accu-Stats DVD's, etc. 2) If you add money to the event, the USBA Sponsors will match it 50% 3) Advertises the USBA to all players 4) Creates more USBA Members 5) Supports the USBA in its endeavor to promote the game of billiards and send its Champions to compete in World Tournaments 6) Tournament will be announced by email to USBA's extensive email list 7) Tournament will be announced in Professor-Q-Ball publication 8) Tournament Results, Charts and Pictures will be published on the USBA website and in Professor-Q-Ball publication (room permitting) If you have never run a tournament before, then we will explain, step-by-step, how to run a tournament. You can use a computer/laptop and printer at the event, or if you can’t do that, you can run it manually. Either way it is being done by many people, and you can do it too.
