Forthomme Joins Elite Group
In today’s world, news travels fast, and when there is news about a three-cushion billiard accomplishment, it travels even faster, at least in the world of billiards, which is what the sports entertainment business labels a “fanatical niche” market. Within hours of Roland Forthomme’s remarkable world-record-tying run of 28 in a Dutch League game on December 2, Bert van Manen, a Dutch player, made a post on the carom forum of AZ Billiards, an internet site dedicated to billiards.

National Champ to Give Clinic
The USBA will live stream the last two days of the USBA open three-cushion tournament to be held at Hard Times Billiards in Bellflower, California, from December 14 to 16.

David Van Lokeren from Rhode Island traveled south to Savannah to capture the November 30 to December 2, 2012 USBA Endorsed Tournament with a .714 grand average in the finals and a .690 in the preliminaries. Known as "Gentleman Dave," Van Lokeren posted a perfect 9-0 record in the three-day tournament. He also posted the high run for the tournament, with a 6 in the finals.

Higashiuchi Wins Crown and Japan Sweeps Top Four Places
Natsumi Higashiuchi of Japan won the 2012 Women’s Three-Cushion World Championship held in Tokyo, Japan, tournament with a grand average of .753.
