"B" and "C" Tournaments Details

"B" Tournament
(.700 Avg. or Less)
Date: July 26th – 28th (Fri - Sun)
Entry Fee: $145 for non-USBA members
$120 for USBA Members (provide current membership card at player's meeting)
Players Meeting: Friday, July 26th, 9:00 AM
Play begins right after meeting.

Prize Fund = $5,000 (based on 12 players and $3,780 added) *

1st Place = $ 2,000
2nd Place = $ 1,400
3rd Place = $ 1,000
4th Place = $ 500
High Run = $ 100

1 twelve man round robin, games played to 30 points, top four players paid.
Places based on W/L, Points scored, and Head to Head; ties broken by defensive points scored against.
Rules: All official USBA tournament rules will apply.

Other Requirements: Tournament attire: appropriate casual wear. $10.00 USBA sanction fee per player plus $10.00 per player to the Medford Elks Lodge already included in entry fee.

*If more or less than 12 players sign up the above format will be adjusted and more or less prize money will be awarded.

"C" Tournament
(.500 Avg. or Less)
Date: July 26th – 28th (Fri - Sun)
Entry Fee: $105 for non-USBA members
$80 for USBA Members (provide current membership card at player's meeting)
Players Meeting: Friday, July 26th, 9:00 AM
Play begins right after meeting.

Prize Fund = $3,300 (based on 12 players and $2520 added) *

1st Place = $ 1,300
2nd Place = $ 1,000
3rd Place = $ 600
4th Place = $ 300
High Run = $ 100

Preliminary format :
2 Groups of 6 Players, games played to 20 points (Round Robin)
Top 2 From Each Flight Advance to finals (NO carry-forward).
Places Based on W/L, Points, Head to Head and defensive points scored against.
Finals will also be 20 point games.
Rules: All official USBA tournament rules will apply.

Rogue Valley Inn located two blocks from the Elks Lodge at 500 N. Riverside Ave. Phone Number : 541-773-3676. Special pricing is $45 for single occupancy and $47 for double occupancy. Mention the Medford Elks Billiard Tournament.

The USBA has a contract with Choice Hotels International. If you would like to receive at least a 15% discount at Choice Hotel locations, please refer to your Membership Package for details or you can access the USBA "Members Only" area.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL MEMBERS, PLAYERS & LOVERS OF THE GAME!

UPDATE 4/11/2013 

It is soon to be here – the largest "B/C" USBA Tour tournament West of New York! $5000 prize fund for the "B" players and $3300 prize fund for the "C" players!

Of course these amounts will be available ONLY through donations – both individuals and USBA donors.

Most Tour events are held in billiard parlors where money is donated to augment the entry fees; we are holding ours at an Elks Lodge. WE give THEM money to allow us to use their facility. We have $2500 donated by one individual already.

The USBA has been very lucky to be able to hold many tournaments at these private Elks Lodges. They willingly give up many weekends of their playing time to have outsiders come in and play. We are extremely happy and grateful for this and are more than willing to donate to these fine institutions.

We have an additional $400 pledged so if we could just get another $600 the USBA donors will add $2800. This will give us the highest pay-out in the history of Northwest billiards for both "B" and "C" players.
