Former US Champion George Ashby won the Spring 2017 Professor-Q-Ball 3-Cushion Rushville Tournament held March 9-12. This was Ashby's second time as Rushville champion having won the very first event in 2013. Lupe Cruz, also a repeat winner, was 5th this year. Right behind Ashby was Fred Lamers (2nd) and Felipe Razon (3rd). More about the event and our picture gallery follows.

Carom Cafe Billiards in Flushing, New York will host a USBA National Qualifying Tournament that has been re-scheduled for May 6, 2017. The room owned by Michael Kang has ten Verhoeven tables.The 3-Cushion National Championship event is scheduled to return to the fabulous Casino Del Sol resort in Tucson Arizona from June 6-11, 2017. Luis Carranza, Tucson entrepreneur, billiard player and owner of Mancave Billiard Club will host a USBA National Qualifying Tournament at his newly remodeled billiard room in Tucson Arizona, Having recently played in the Casino Del Sol Tournaments held by the USBA in January, Luis wanted to give local players a chance to qualify for the 3-Cushion National Championship event schedule to return to the fabulous Casino Del Sol from June 6-11, 2017.. The qualifier will take place Saturday & Sunday, April 22-23, 2017. See below for more details.
