For sixty consecutive years the Northwest Open has been held originating out of the Elks Club in Portland, Oregon. The organizers decided to combine that venerable event with another popular tournament the Mike Fahey Memorial for 2017. The result was a rousing success that signals three cushion billiard players can look forward to many more years of great tournaments in the Pacific Northwest. Dave Ehlers received top honors from Tim Poole.

Bob was a great friend and a lifelong enthusiast and excellent player of the sport of 3 cushion billiards.

2017 USBA National Champion Pedro Piedrabuena has completed the "double" by defeating Javier Teran of Ecuador 40-36 in 33 innings in the final match to win the 2017 Pan American Championship.

Pedro Piedrabuena is our new champion for 2017 after impressing players and spectators alike at the USBA 3-Cushion National Championship with a nearly flawless performance. Undefeated throughout the preliminaries and the finals, Pedro demonstrated a world-class skill and concentration at the table that was inspiring. Whether facing a C-Player or a top player, Pedro brought his A-Game to every match. We are extremely proud that he will be representing us at the 2017 UMB World Championship to be held November 1-5 in La Paz, Bolivia.
